J’ Dee Adams

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

I joined North Canyon Medical Center in April, 2014. I’m originally from Logan, Utah and I attended Utah State University which ultimately led me to a Masters of Healthcare Administration at the University of Minnesota. I started in healthcare on the clinical side while pursuing interests in physical therapy and then transitioned to the administrative side. While working for a number of healthcare organizations throughout the country I realized that I enjoyed the lifestyle in the West and wanted to find an organization that reconnected me to the personal touch of healthcare. My family and I reside in Gooding, Idaho and we enjoy being active with sports, music, and the outdoors.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

A self-proclaimed Excel nerd, I have been crunching numbers for North Canyon Medical Center since 2010. My role at the hospital is to establish and maintain appropriate accounting and financial reporting systems, as well as implement internal controls. I also oversee the annual audit process, as well as the preparation of the fiscal budget. Some people might call me crazy, but I love what I do and take pride in presenting a nice, clean set of audited financials every year. Although my closest work companion is my trusty laptop, I enjoy being a part of an organization that simply wants to help the people in the community. I earned a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration – Information Management degree from the University of North Dakota and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Boise State University.

Human Resource Director

My journey with North Canyon Medical Center began in 2011 as a Human Resource Assistant. Since then, I have worked as a Human Resource Advisor in a variety of industries including oil and gas and specialty chemicals, but it was always the small community hospital in Gooding that held my heart. After several years of living in the south, my family and I realized that Idaho was truly home so we moved back in 2018. I was blessed to return to NCMC as the Human Resource Director in 2019 and look forward to contributing to the amazing growth that has taken place over the past decade, including continuing to build partnerships that enhance our facility such as our relationship with the Mayo Clinic. There is nothing more rewarding than feeling part of a shared vision, of something larger than oneself. My role in the organization is to recruit and retain the area’s top talent so we can continue to deliver quality patient care to the community. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Idaho and an MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University. I sincerely believe NCMC is the premier healthcare organization in the region and my goal is to make us the employer of choice in the Magic Valley.
